Ashok Karania is the MD & CEO at Magnet Technologies, a leading software solutions in rich internet applications and open source technologies. Ashok spearheads several gujarati language technology initiatives including Shri R P Chandaria’s Gujaratilexicon and Magnet’s Utkarsh. Ashok graduated from Narsee Monjee College in April 1999 with specialization in Accountancy & Computer Applications. He completed his post graduation in management with specialization in marketing and finance from S P Jain Institute Of Management & Research, Mumbai in April 2002. Currently, he is pursuing PhD in Business Policy from Mumbai University.

Ashok’s hobbies are traveling, reading and watching movies. He believes in concept of ‘Live 2 Give’ and mentors youngsters and organizations. He loves interacting with the diverse and large group of friends.

Ashok started his personal website in April 2001 to express himself, much before blogs became a trend. He used his website to share his views and articles.

In August 2005, Ashok transformed his website into a blog and continued it for a few months. He re-started his current blog (www.ashokkarania.com) in January 2007.
