Gujarati Blogger#29: Valibhai Musa

Valibhai MusaAs Gujarati Blogger#29 we have with us Shri Valibhai Musa, a 16-month old blogger and native of Kanodar, Banaskantha, Gujarat, India.

Talking about his personality traits, Valibhai says, “I am a man of literature and in 1965 my first story ‘Jalsamadhi’ in Gujarati (Regional language) was published in a Magazine. After that many stories in various College and other Magazines were published. I have some poems and Hykoos (Japanese poetry) also written in Gujarati which are also unpublished. No any book of mine is published till today due to my busy life in my family business in various lines such as Automobile, Hotels, Stock Market, and Doctor House etc… I shall, occasionally, publish those old works as well as the new ones for my readers on my blog.”

His Blog

Valibhai started his first blog William’s Tales (http://musawilliam.wordpress.com) on May 5, 2007. On his blog, Valibhai writes on Human behavior, Humor, Literature, Non-violence, education, life, terrorism and many more topics.

In his latest blog post, Valibhai has explained the proverb “Jack of all, but master of none’”. (http://musawilliam.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/no-shortage-of-jacks-of-all/)

Why Blogging - An Interesting Answer

In answer to my question “Why do you write blogs?” Valibhai quotes George Bernard Shaw saying “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”

Talking about the benefits of blogging, Valibhai says, “Blogging world is wonderful. During the course of only 16 months, innumerable people worldwide knew me and reciprocally I knew them also. Blogging is such a platform where the bloggers and viewers can make free discussions just as we do in our own households.”

And telling me about his favorite blogs, Valibhai says, “My favorite blogs are many which have been preserved on my ‘Favorites’ option and they cannot be catalogued here.”

A Guest Blogger

Valibhai is a guest blogger at http://vijayshah.wordpress.com where he writes his own translated Articles in Gujarati.

Valibhai says, “Many English Blogs are desirous to have my Articles exclusively for their use which I can’t, but I allow them to republish those whichever they like on their site from my blog without any obligation.”

Valibhai’s Blog - Tarun’s Eye

Today in the afternoon I went through a few posts on Valibhai’s blog.

Two of those posts are: Life on earth, possible but not safe! and The Proof. While reading Valibhai what I feel is “motivation” and “excitement” when he writes “The Birthday (2nd October) of Mahatma Gandhi has been declared as International Non-violence Day by the UNO. But, what of that if the purpose of the day is not served! All the member nations of the UNO should at least introduce the study of Non-violence minimum at Primary Education level and see we can create a new generation throughout the world that can change the face of the world with a new concept of Non-violence.”

To feel what I felt you must pay a visit to Valibhai’s blog :)

See you in a few hours with a new Gujarati Blogger profile. **I would like to thank Valibhai Musa for granting permission to publish his profile on GujaratiBloggers.
